"I walked in, told them what I was looking for, picked a pair, paid the $50, and was out of there in probably 2 minutes.  But, during that 2 minutes, the people working there were wonderful.  And they laughed when I jokingly apologized for taking so much of their time.  I like it when people laugh at my dumb jokes."

What makes for good customer service? At first, it may seem a little weird that you are "catering" to your customers' little idiosyncrasies...but hey, if they think you are nice enough to laugh at their jokes, this means good business baby!  But first of all, you need a good selection of eyeglasses that will fit your customer's preference.
