"Furthermore, her dog (I think it was her dog) was there in the store and I gotta say, I really, really hate how people in Austin think it's okay to bring their dog EVERYWHERE they go.  Pets and retail stores do NOT mix for me.  The dog barked as customers came in -- so obnoxious."

Attention, business owners! Why would you bring your dog at your store and let it bark at  your customers? It may seem perfectly acceptable to some (especially pet owners) but to other customers this is just a no-no. In Colorado, at Monarch Ski Resorts, one of the most popular ski stores owner has a huge dog that hangs around in the store...but so tame and adorable, the customers don't even care. This may not be the case with your dog. You love your pets...but don't lose your business because of them.
